Here at Dexcom we’ve spent the last 20 years innovating and developing simpler and better ways for people with type 1 diabetes to measure, track and manage their diabetes.
Why?
Because we believe data has the power to make life with diabetes, better.
Headquartered in San Diego, California, Dexcom has emerged as a leader of diabetes care technology.
We’ve been working to make diabetes management better for a long time. We launched our company in 1999 and our first sensor in 2004. When we first started out, the only way to measure glucose levels was to fingertstick. It gave us a snapshot, not a story, which made it difficult to understand our glucose levels and trends over time or feel in control of our diabetes.
Decades Of Diabetes Experience
Our goal is to simplify and improve diabetes management for every possible person with diabetes.‡ To this end we base every key decision on four core values.
Comprehend the needs of people living with diabetes .
Act in the best interest of our community.
Use technology to revolutionise diabetes care.
Inspire confidence within our community and in one another.
For a long time, the only way to know our glucose levels was to fingerprick, take some blood and apply it to a test strip. Find out about the advances in diabetes tech helping people with type 1 diabetes.
Don’t just take our word for it. See what our customers have to say about their experience with Dexcom G6 CGM.
*For patients using the Dexcom G6 CGM System or Dexcom G6 Pro CGM System (in unblinded mode) only. If your glucose alerts and readings from Dexcom G6 or Dexcom G6 Pro do not match symptoms or expectations, use a blood glucose meter to make diabetes treatment decisions.
