Posso visualizzare i miei dati CGM di Dexcom G5 Mobile su un Apple Watch? 

Sì, è possibile controllare i dati CGM direttamente dal proprio polso. L’app Dexcom G5 Mobile supporta Apple Watch e permette di visualizzare in modo discreto la lettura glicemica, la freccia di trend e il grafico di trend. Utilizzare la Digital Crown per scorrere i dati relativi a 1, 3 o 6 ore all’interno del grafico di trend.

È possibile, inoltre, visualizzare i dati glicemici e la freccia di trend come complicazione sul proprio quadrante. Scegliere tra i quattro stili di complicazione disponibili a seconda del quadrante che si preferisce.

Per configurare Dexcom G5 Mobile su Apple Watch, è necessario utilizzare l’app Watch disponibile su un iPhone compatibile. Per aggiungere complicazioni, utilizzare l’app Watch e scegliere il quadrante e lo stile di complicazione desiderati. Se si desidera che il colore della complicazione Dexcom rifletta il colore del proprio stato glicemico, per il quadrante scegliere l’opzione multicolore.

Quando Apple Watch viene attivato, sincronizza i dati CGM correnti dall’iPhone compatibile. Potrebbe esserci un breve ritardo nella visualizzazione delle informazioni correnti sull’app Watch. Per ottenere prestazioni migliori, aggiungere l’app Dexcom G5 Mobile al Dock e abilitare l’aggiornamento dell’app in background. 

Apple Watch comunicherà solo con l’iPhone compatibile e non con il trasmettitore Dexcom G5. Non si otterranno allarmi o avvisi né altre informazioni sull’orologio, a meno che non sia connesso con l’iPhone compatibile. Ad esempio, se si indossa l’orologio per uscire, ma si lascia l’iPhone nella propria abitazione, non si riceverà alcun aggiornamento CGM.

È necessario disporre dell’app Dexcom G5 1.6 e di Apple Watch con watchOS 3 o versioni successive.
