What happens if my sensor insertion causes bleeding?
In order for the Dexcom ONE insertion needle to reach the interstitial fluid, it must penetrate the dermis layer of the skin, which has blood vessels scattered throughout. Penetration of these blood vessels causes bleeding if the needle pierces through them. If you experience bleeding, please visit the contact us section of our website to contact the Dexcom support team.
